Dreams

Dreams are so weird. Everyone dreams every single night, but most nights I forget my dreams. Supposedly if you tell yourself before your about to go to sleep "i will remember my dream tomorrow" you do! Although I didn't tell myself this before i went to sleep last night, I still remember my dream very, very vividly. I'm sure everyone has those few random dreams that they will never forget from throughout their entire life. Most of my dreams that I wont ever forget were nightmares. I remember this one dream from when i was a little girl, i was in a huge city but all the buildings were made out of leggos and everyone in the city were leggo people! i was being chased by this gigantic dinosaur made out of paper and no one could help me because nobody could move. Of course this dream doesn't sound scary at all, but when i was a little girl it was terrifying.
I think i might have heard this somewhere, but i think that dreams are either a wish or a fear. Even if its the most random dream ever, somehow it relates back to your real life. I love dreams because you can do almost anything you want. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could control our dreams and every night when we went to sleep it would be a different, new, and exciting adventure. I think that there should be more research put into dreams, for some reason they fascinate me a lot!

this weekend

This weekend my friend Brandon came to visit me. We met a couple of years ago because we went to the same high school. Since he is a year younger, he was visiting Indiana to see if he was interested in maybe going to school here. I was excited to show him around and show him a good time. I lucked out with the amazing weather and we were able to be outside for most of the weekend.
I took him all around campus and brought him to all my favorite spots to eat around Bloomington. I took him to the football stadium and to the basketball stadium because he's really into sports. I wish he was here to experience a tailgate because I personally think that the tailgates are the best part about Indiana University.
It was really fun having him here to be able to show him where I live, and show him my new life. I dropped him off at the airport yesterday (didn't get lost this time). It was definitely sad to say goodbye but also nice to have some time to myself again.
After I dropped him off, I went to see the movie Alice in Wonderland with my friend Samantha. It was just as good as I expected it to be. Johnny Depp in my opinion is one of the best actors ever! He can form to any roll that he plays and he was absolutely perfect for the mad hatter role. As good as the movie was, I still don't understand the underlying meaning of it all, does anyone know? I'm very curious.

Getting lost is one of my biggest fears. I got my car shipped to me yesterday from home. Originally my older sister Danielle had it in Wisconsin, where she goes to school, but since she is a junior she went abroad this semester to Tel Aviv. My mom and dad both agreed to send me the car because it would have no use at home.
My friends went to mardi gras this weekend, they drove up on thursday the entire 12 hours! Of course they had the craziest weekend and didn't worry about a thing. After an hour of driving around right when they got there, they finally found a parking spot and didn't come back to the car once all weekend. When it was time to go home they get to the car and there is a huge orange slip on the windshield explaining that the car has been involved in an accident. Someone hit the back tire and the car wouldn't drive. It was a pretty horrible way to end such an amazing weekend so I told them that I would pick them up from the airport when they got back so they wouldn't have to take the shuttle.
On the way to the airport, I missed a turn. It might not sound scary to you, but when getting lost is one of your biggest fears and you miss a turn in Indiana a state that your completely not familiar with, it can be a little bit scary. Thank god I was with my friend samantha even though she happened to be no help to me at all. We had the airport plugged into my navigation but at a certain point on the way to the airport the roads are not marked on the navigation because the airport is new. We were lost for about 15 minutes driving aimlessly looking for a sign or a highway we might recognize and be able to turn around.
We decided to get off at the next exit and as soon as we did, signs for the airport were straight ahead. Getting lost is one of the worst feeling in the world, but getting lost and then finding your way is one of the best!

About Me

So, Ive never made a blog before..never even really seen one, maybe a once or twice but I am definitely not a pro at these blog things. I messed around with a few things here and there to make my blog look pretty because honestly, who wants to read a boring plain old blog? Not me at least. So I added a few gadgets..threw in a slideshow of my family and I. But while trying to do that I added this gadget called slideshow and it appears to be a random slideshow of pictures that blogger.com thought Id like? Who knows! Anyway, ignore the random pictures on the bottom of my page. The fish on the top are pretty random as well but I do love fish. I am a certified scuba diver since I was 11 years old. Its something that me and my dad do together every vacation that I take. Ive been on plenty of dives but if I had to narrow it down to my two favorites ever it would have to be the time I went diving in the disney world fish tank. Its alot smaller than it seems to be but there are a TON of different types of fish in there. I also thought it was cool because full house used to be one of my favorite shows and one episode in full house is uncle jesse and joey diving in the same tank. My other favorite dive would have to be when me and my dad went diving in Cabo, Mexico. My dad told me it wasn't a regular dive and to just wait and see until we got down there. We were about 45 feet deep sitting on the ocean floor and there was no coral reef or fish around. I waited, like my dad told me too and in the next two minutes there were about 30 sea lions playing and swimming in front of us as if we weren't even there.
The reason why I chose the colors pink and black for my blog are because number 1, pink is my all time favorite color..not that Im a huge girlie girl because Im not..I just love the color pink. and number 2 because my room at home is pink and black so it kinda looks the same, i figure my room is where is sit and think and have my thoughts so why not make my blog, the place where I will be sharing my thoughts, look like my room. So I hope this was a successful first blog and you all enjoy reading it!
